Makeup artist Jasmine Hoffman has teamed up once again with talented photographer, Brooke of Brooklyn D Photography along with some of her favourite brands and local talent for a dazzling late Autumn walk through the streets of Vancouver adorned in all things Emerald!
Jasmine says, “my favourite thing about doing business in Vancouver is the support I receive and collaborations that I’m able to do with others. We have such an amazing group of business babes in Vancouver and it’s really great to see the networks grow. I always say – ‘we will rise up together’.”
“I Get inspiration from some of my fave artists in Vancouver. Together we can create magic and we do so when we plan style shoots and editorials for magazines and blogs. Elsa Corsi Jewellery, Hanna from Little Pink Dress and Nomo from Simply Sweet Photography are a few of my fave inspiring women.”
“I worked for brands like Laura Mercier and other high end lines for years while I was doing freelance make up artistry on the side. I would recommend this to aspiring MUAs. I think that it’s a really good learning experience and you get to do makeup on so many different skin tones and ages. It really does help you grow as an artist.”
“I really feel like something funny happens to me on a daily basis! I think if anyone saw me struggle with my giant beauty kit, they would get a big laugh! Travelling with all of my makeup kits is not easy!”
“For Fall makeup I recommend to make sure you moisturize and use a good primer before putting on your makeup. I love the Charlotte Tilbury Wonderglow Primer and the Urban Decay Hydrating Setting Mist.”
“I’m in love with Stila Glitter and Glow Eyeshadows – perfect for the season!”
